I do, and I use them for points and cashback.

That's what we do too!! My husband used to collect credit cards and when we went to get a mortgage, we were told he had to get rid of some because the bank wouldn't give us a loan with so many!! I think we got rid of 5 of them and 5 more were inactive anyway. We don't have as many these days because I force my husband to give up one before we get others. We probably have 3 or 4 that we use normally and we pay them off every month.

We have two CC's, use them for practically everything and pay them both off every month.

The only thing we don't use them on are things that have convenience fees (unless we don't have a choice). I understand things like online ticket purchases but even a few restaurants are now charging extra if you use a credit card. I carry $40-60 in cash most of the time in case we eat at one of those places.

We strictly use them for Cash back. I take the Cash back we get every month and split it between my wife and myself for "fun money".

We also try to make sure we aren't buying things we wouldn't be buying anyway.

I have three - the one I use for most purchases with the highest credit limit, another one I got for my wife because we wanted to get her credit rating up higher than it would go being an additional user on my account, and another one I virtually never use but serves a very specific purpose.

I often use the cash back to make things like online orders go away because they come out of the free money.

I shift purchases from one card to another to maximize cash back. There's limited point shopping for cash back if you don't pay them off in full every month, so that's what I do.

I used to have a lot of credit cards when I was married and in business.
But she maxed them all out right before she left and I did pay them all off but I had to do it by paying them first and going to the grocery store after that. I paid it all off in 1 year!

But now, I've cut up every one and I have shook off credit for good. If I can't pay cash, I do without. (Or not if the Lord is around, Lol!) . So I'm fine without credit.

I noticed something weird when I was in Business. Those who bill us for money love to threaten us, add i extras fees always and are thieves in general. Uh-oh, we got another shut off notice for the Utilities! Uh-Oh, they want to repo my car...and you want to do business with these type people? Uh, ok for you I guess. But I digress, I noticed that even with a lifetime of shut off notices, Nothing ever got shut off. I always hear of people who got shut off or repo'ed. How come they get shut down and I don't. And I realized that all of them were drunks or druggies who always mishandled their money!

That hints at the truth in scripture, you could literally sellf of all your property and holdings and give it to the poor and become homeless...and you would not ever miss any meals.

I noticed, something always happens, hey a good paying job came in the day before the shut off notice is due. Something. I honestly believe that one could live on earth for a lifetime and never need money. I know how to fish, to field dress and butcher deer & elk, I can set a rabbit snare. Who goes hungry? Idiots, drunkards and druggies.

Credit cards are a scheme to eke 40 more dollars out of you, or more! Keep them poor! They can keep it.
