I agree because he's not so much talking in terms of physical strength, he is talking about the idea and also basically proven fact that a more difficult life creates a stronger mind.

You can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.

President Kennedy also said "Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country." In this trying time of pandemic we see this working out all around the nation. The Democrats are saying "We are all in this together." while the Republicans are saying "What about my civil liberties?"

Agree as well, when you pray for stones to become pillows and blankets God will give you tribulations so that you learn patience
