Dark Theme vs Light Theme

Do you prefer using a dark theme or light theme on forums and why?

I usually prefer the light themes but when we switched to XenForo and got this dark them I kind of enjoyed it.

Light theme. I cannot stay any longer than 5 minutes on a dark theme. I have perfect eyesight but for some reason, on a dark theme it strains my eyes. Kind of hard to explain.

I prefer using the dark theme. The dark style is much easier on the eyes, especially in the evenings or at night, when I usually post on the forums. I'm happy to use the light if I have to.
