I take thyroid medicine daily because I no longer have a thyroid except a remnant left behind after surgery and recently my medicine was slightly increased. I'm excited for that increase because I hadn't noticed how sluggish I had become!

Lamotrogine for bipolar depression, I started having symptoms in highschool and anti depressants never lasted long and I hated the side effects, thankfully I was diagnosed correctly because this med has no side effects and has worked fine for about 10 years now.
I take ambien for sleep but I think I just need to work out and exercise because im not very active in my daily routine and lately I've been drinking sodas again so that needs to end.

I take medication for my diabetes and am on a insulin pump which gives me insulin every hour of the day. I take it because otherwise I would die

That seems like a pretty good reason to take a daily medication.
Personally I don't want to be on any medicine for the rest of my life but if the choice was that or die I'd take the medicine. I've crossed swords with a few doctors whose response to just about everything is "you should be on a medication for that" because my first port of call is to fix things with lifestyle changes rather than drugs. But of course not everything can be fixed with a lifestyle change.

I take daily medication for several health conditions. Hypothyroid, cardiac conditions x 3, allergies as well as several supplements to boost the immune system. Heredity and the type of cancer I had 17 years ago put me at a higher risk for the cardia conditions.
