No humor. Paedobaptism is the acceptance that baptism is not age restricted. You posted that you believe "any age is acceptable" for baptism. Therefore, you cannot be against the paedobaptist position.

I think that atpollard said both that no specific age is set as a requirement and also that confessed faith was a requirement. The former fits your argument Josiah but the latter does not.

... but he also said that while baptism and confession are ASSOCIATED, the word "and" does not require sequence. So, at most, he MIGHT hold (but has never so indicated) that whatever blessings he thinks are associated with batptism (and I doubt he thinks there are any) would not be effectual or applied until that confession takes place. But that would not be an apologetic for prohibiting the granting of baptism to those under the magical age of "X", it would (AT MOST) be an argument that any blessings would be delayed until additional factors are added. I'd caution him from that, after all there are HUNDREDS of things associated with faith... if all must be met before any blessing is received, then we'd need to be morally PERFECT (Matthew 5:48, etc.) before we could receive faith and forgiveness... we'd need to make disciples of all people on the planet before God would give us any mercy, grace, strength.
