A friend of ours has a daughter in her 30s who had the shot (I forget which one) and after the first dose she had a headache for 15 days that she couldn't shift. She doesn't want the second shot becauase she's afraid of what it might do, but the alternative is losing her job. Because science.
A 60 year old woman on my mail route recently told me that she received her second moderna shot back in March and ever since then, she's had trouble breathing, makes regular visits to the doctor and has to be put on oxygen.
I'm wondering if either of those women had an allergy to PEG (Polyethylene Glycol)?
I've been doing my research (which a lot of my Facebook friends seem to frown upon) and even though I initially denied having a PEG allergy, I'm finding that the majority of things on my long list of allergens in my medical records have PEG as an inactive ingredient.
PEG is the main ingredient in Miralax and I've taken it in the past which is why I didn't think I had a PEG allergy. Well, what do you know, I can't take it now! It's not the same exact allergic reaction that I had with the covid vaccine but my doctor told me it's because of the weight of the ingredient in the product. I had taken a child's dose of Miralax and it took a while for the allergy to show itself. It's been a week and I'm still suffering
So be diligent if you yourself have a PEG allergy! Allergies can build up over time and something you could manage easily with a small rash might give you an anaphylactic reaction the next.
My allergies have been out of control since my 2nd vaccine shot. In a way I regret getting it because of all the problems I'm having, but now at least I know to be aware of the PEG in items I use, ingest, whatever.
PEG is in food products, cleaning supplies, medicines, lotions, shampoos, etc... The FDA has deemed it to be "safe" but there is a group of people (the percentage is probably higher than what I've seen on websites) who say it's not safe.
