Confidentiality vs Secrets

Just don't expect someone to keep a secret. In my family you can't say anything to anyone or everyone knows. I just watch out to not say it to the wrong person. If people have nothing to do with it anyway I can tell them or I just tell a stranger and don't mention the name.
Can you keep a sectet? Ehm nope. I thought my brother could. Hey now my mother knows it too. Oh well. He had to get it off his chest too I guess lol.

For instance my ex had a secret. He applied for a job. He said to the kids dont tell your mom cause then everyone knows it. Now he didnt want people from church to know, so I didn't tell them, but I did tell my family and I throw it on ch LOL.

Yeah,most people can't really keep it secret and end up telling it in a round about way. Even if they tell it without mentioning the names of the people involved. Like, "I had a person tell me thus and so". But you don't reveal who the person is.

My opinion, take it for what its' worth, is that keeping something confidential is often a requirement where as keeping somebody's secret is not and another thing about secrets is that the one who holds it is in a position of power. Holding something confidential due to requirement could be viewed as the one who required is the one who holds the power even though breaking both confidentiality and secrets might have dire consequences.

Gossip is deadly. Most guys I know..... They may hate that about women more than just about anything else they do. (Not saying all women do)
But it's been made into an entire industry, and look at how so many silly women buy into it, ... Just look at the tv shows, where they scream at the top of their lungs, all around gossip, Winfrey, Wendy, The View, the morning shows, the Hollywood info-tainment, then it goes into the prime time, glorified drama/soap operas, and its nothing but whos doing what to and with who. Add the magazines people cosmo, they start them young with teen beat and seventeen .... And .... Why do I know about any of this?!
Ummm ... Heard it through the grapevine?? Lol
But really, its sin but its so commonplace anymore it seems no one cares, until the damage is done. Just my opinion, tho.

All the filthy lies and gossip of Dutch celebrities are in it.
