My day is starting off great. My husband is on his way home from Indiana. He works out of state during the week.

The Kitchen! I love this place!

I'm waiting for a plumber to come fix our hot water heater. Cold showers are AWFUL!!!! The dishes are piled way too high for my liking. I feel like a pioneer or something.

Church was really fun today. The pastor did a an awesome sermon based on God's Word and the liturgy!

Ours was on "When God's Word and the world collide." We are to remember that our God is there, though the world turns it's back on him. Refers a lot to what's happening in our country today.

My day is going awesome...I am talking to a sister of mine that lives several states away and she and her family are coming for a visit in a few weeks!! I can't wait...I am counting the days now...LOL!

If everyone has been following my adventures on FB they would know that Betty and I have been homeless the last 7 months. Before Christmas we sold our home and most of our belongings and went on the road for our last hurrah. Been adventuresome and somewhat edgy in a quest to go to the west coast and see my son in OR.

Had a tough couple of days. Hubby lost his job yesterday. He has another week in Indiana in a couple of weeks. Then a job in NY in July. Then one more week in Indiana. Then he is done. The end of July he will have to look for a new job. We are a little numb over this.

I didn't show up here yesterday. I was just a bit out of it.

OH!!!! That's awful news and I'm so sorry to hear about it. I'll keep you guys in my prayers. I hope that something comes through by the end of July.

Thank you for your prayers. I have troubles with anxiety, and this has surely not done me any good. Just trying to hang on. God's will be done.

We are at our daughter's right now, babysitting our 3 year old granddaughter. Kids have been on a vacation. It's been a fun time with the little gal. She keeps us moving, and our mind off of things. They come home tonight, so we will be on the road home tomorrow. It's about a 3 1/3 hour drive.
