US Customs and Border Protection has closed road and pedestrian bridges in both directions at the San Ysidro port of entry, one of the largest land border crossings between San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico. The closures come as around 500 migrants overwhelmed federal and local Mexican police blockades and rushed toward the US border near Tijuana, Mexico.

Apparently, there are some reasonable folks in the crowd who are doing things the right (albeit, slow) way:

Isn't that always how it is...the few ruin it for the many? I wish I would have bookmarked an article I read yesterday who admitted that some people were paid to participate in this migrant march toward the US and how others did sell everything. Those were from Honduras are actually witnessing their country caring for them and inviting them back with promises of caring for them until they get back on their feet. At least, that's how the guy stated things. It would be nice if countries could care for their own people.
