This bible study really helps one to understand how we don't have a righteousness of our own that gets us eternal life but that it's all because of our triune God.
Galatians 3:27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
Clothing ourselves with Christ also means being clothed in His holiness.
Romans 13:14 Instead, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the desires of the flesh.
Romans 1:17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last,[a] just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
In biblical times wedding garments of white were to be put on at the wedding feast. Those who refused or who did not have the garments were cast out. See Matthew 22
1 Corinthians 1:30 But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,
Christ's righteousness is a gift to us!
Philippians 3:9 and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith,
