How does your church handle congregants with special needs?

Physically, we're blessed with no stairs anywhere and with restrooms that were designed to be fully compliant. So in terms of facilities (my responsibility) we're very good.

We have one man with severe Downs, a couple of members with psych or memory issues and our share of seniors. I don't think the church does anything specific or special in their cases but perhaps.

How does your church handle congregants with special needs?

We have an elevator to avoid stairs, hearing loop devices and I think we have a few walking frames available if people need them. We have several elderly people and a couple of regular visitors who are wheelchair users.

How does your church handle congregants with special needs?

We have a woman who signs for the deaf, certain chairs and end of rows are designated for the handicapped and I think some Bibles are written in Braille.
We have a handicapped bathroom stall.
