There are many hats to wear at congregations...church council, altar guild, various committees, etc...

Which ones are hard to fill at your church? Which ones do you avoid?

I avoid any of the positions involving music because I can't sing well. I have at one time or another done most other jobs in the church

I'm a deacon in our parish and I serve on the Church Council (chair of the Board of Trustees), teach the Teen Sunday School class, lead a home Bible study and sing in the choir. But it's a small church.... and that often means we need to just notice what needs doing, and step up.


My Dad is fond of saying "There are two kinds of people in the world: Those looking for green grass and those making the grass greener." I try to water the grass where I'm at. However I can.
