Does your church have an annual church picnic? Where do they hold it? What activities go along with it?

My last church used to have an annual day at a local riverside pavilion, but people gradually lost interest in it. The idea was that we'd have a normal-ish service and then a bring-n-share lunch with games available. It started to fizzle when fewer people stayed for the lunch and fewer still stayed for the games afterwards.

My current church has an annual picnic at a nearby state park. We missed the last one because it was on my birthday. I believe the idea is a shortened service, baptisms in the lake, and some kind of food available.

When I first joined the church I attend now, they had their annual picnics at a park, but that was a lot of work, so now they just do something at the church. I can't remember if they even held one last year.
