Christmas

We’ve already put up our small Christmas tree and I’m almost finished decorating the larger one. It’s got me thinking about what everybody’s doing for Christmas and the Christmas season this year? We’ll go to a Candleight service at my church on Christmas Eve and we plan on going out to see Christmas lights either that night or another. Our daughter, son in law and grandson are spending Christmas out of town so we’ll celebrate the holiday with them either a few days before or after. Unfortunat most of our relatives live too far away.
We went out of town yesterday for Thanksgiving so we won’t be doing that on Christmas.

Does anybody have any plans yet?

We are planning to watch Christmas movies, especially our favorites that show how taxing and trouble-fraught Christmas can be when people routinely force themselves to be around others who they are not quite ready to be around.

I'm baking a ton of different Christmas cookies for the next few weeks and freezing most of them. That way we'll have a variety on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. I love to bake, I just have to limit myself on how many I eat because wow, it becomes addicting.

Yes cookies are addicting. Especially for me it’s chocolate chip.
