All Christians should respect authority but at what point do we stop respecting because it crosses into the line that goes against our beliefs? Can we still show respect if that line is crossed and how do we show it?

I was thinking of politics when I started this thread but have edited to say any authority. Teachers, church leaders, forum site leaders ;)

If forum sites leaders are jerks and unchristian I tell them and refuse to post there anymore, unless it's an atheist forum, then I'm super friendly, even if they treat me like dirt and give them a friendly goodbye. If a boss is a jerk I leave, jerkish is okay, but some flirting jerk buh bye. Listen to a boss and do what you're told? Then you get fired here. You need to be proactive and tell him lol.

Daniel is a good example imho. When the king Darius made a law that Daniel could not submit to, he wordlessly disobeyed and trusted God to keep him.

What about the Democrats and their behavior last night at President Trump's speech. Were they being disrespectful toward an authority figure?

Oh... silly but, they are just paying the Republicans back for the disrespect they showed President Obama for the 8 years he was in office. You know, making them see how it felt.
