However, Christians are not doing this. In fact, due to the collaboration with politics and other stuff, they are hating enemies. Is it no wonder the Holocaust happened or any other social injustice out there?

Nonetheless, I understand there are times for justice. Nonetheless, even in those times, nothing justifies the hatred spewed out by say, Martin Luther, back in the day.

I mean, I can hate what thieves have done. Nonetheless, I am not called to dwell on hate for them. All I am called to do is pray and love.

You are so right about this. Matthew and John prove if a person does not live the Sermon on the Mount, they are not saved. Churches kill enemies instead of loving them as history shows. The level of hatred on so-called Christian forums shows nothing has changed except the USA's separation of church and State laws saves us from them.

Some Christians, I think you mean.

I personally know many Christians who very quietly go about doing simply wonderful charitable work and do it for the love of God and in the manner taught by Christ. I would suppose that you know such people yourself.

Was the Holocaust a project launched by Christians? If not, what are you talking about?

I think you do not know Luther very well. While he was bitterly disappointed that the Jews did not rally to his movement after he'd taken on the Catholic Church which had a long record of persecuting the Jews, and that this part of his life is well-known, he was a remarkably kind and forgiving person in his personal life. But few people bother to check into that.

Oh oh.

But what about the Old Testament theocracy?

But what about the Old Testament theocracy?
“Knowing this, that the law (Ten Commandments) is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;” 1 Timothy 1:9–10 (KJV 1900)

The Jews were wicked beyond belief. Even eating their children at times. Only a few among them were born-again (Saved). His plan for them also involved violence.

But he abolished the State of Israel in AD 70. Removing the unbelievers, adding believers from among the gentiles in their place. Under the New Covenant, believers do not take part in war or violence. We love our enemies even to the point of giving our own lives rather than killing them. We Live the Sermon on the Mount. So, God is the same as in OT times, but his plan for believers is different now. War-mongering Churches are not true churches and should be avoided at any cost.

It's tough to get people to change religious views overnight like that. He should have known that. In that case, I wonder if his anger really comes from the first sentence - or if it was bigotry.

Suddenly there being opposition to the Catholic church isn't some ray of sunshine making people change, more than likely.

I doubt that it could have been mere bigotry since Luther had expected the Jews to begin to look more favorably upon Christianity and consider joining...once the monopoly that the very anti-Semitic Roman Catholic Church had enjoyed over Christianity was ended (to a large extent by the efforts of Luther himself). Of course, that never happened.

People converting in-masse is something wanted, but we can't be too let down if it doesn't happen.
