I can't believe how often I've sung this in church and never heard this version or knew the artist.
We worship with alot of the things you might hear on the radio, but I don't really know one musician from the next these days.
It's funny, but my 'old days' I knew all the musicians, bands, music, had tons of albums, was in a band myself.
But now as a christian, I just can't seem to relate to it all the same way.
I love to sing in worship, (I try to keep in the back, so's not to offend others), and I wish I hadn't let my interest and abilities in music slip away so long ago.
This song seems to be among the favorites at my church, we have some fine singers in the congregation, and some really good worship leaders.
I also generally prefer live recordings (?) as opposed to studio cuts, lol, and at the 3:45 mark, it sounded similar to being in church. It felt good, and I'm sure the Lord is pleased. Thanks for posting this.
Chris Tomlin. Now I know. God bless you.
