I am looking for testimonies that chondroitin works for arthritic patients and not as a placebo effect because sometimes the mind will convince itself that there is healing.

Because chondroitin is made from bovine products wouldn't collagen in the form of gelatin work also? I had great success with sore back after using Knox for a month and the aches never came back. It also cured a cist on my wrist at the same time. Amazon has grass fed bovine gelatin that is the recommended product for joints.

I have used chondroitin in the past. But I saw a video on calcium by this guy named David Wolf . I don't have pain anymore, praise God for His healing. Go to youtube and search David Wolf on Calcium.

Goodness me my mind is going because I clearly forgot I asked about chondroitin here. Thank you ladies for the replies and now I must ask about the cost of these alternate supplements, will they be cheaper than chondroitin?
