My brother's (still living) birthday is on July 4th (as was my late maternal grandmother's), and our family usually gets together and hangs out as family as able. Sometimes we are able to watch fireworks in the area. This year is a little different though, since one brother is gone, and sister (and her husband and children) are going out of state to visit her in-laws (parents of husband), and a few of us are down with chronic illness / disabilities, but will have to see.

As a side note:

This country's (u.S.A.) 250th is right in that middle range for when a country ceases to exist.

"... At least one source calculates how long a country lasts on average to be 158 years. Most sources base figures on “empire” rather than country, which is 250 years. ..." - How Long Does a Country Last?

A study was done about the current and ongoing (and foretold) "civil war" that the "u.S." finds itself in (for the averages, see the 20:38 minute mark) -

Or see the chart from the BBC Ancient Civlisations chart, here - The lifespans of ancient civilisations

So, it will not be just fireworks on the ground and sky that are looked for this year, but also more foretold (Bible) events that will herald the final events as well, for the world's end goes with a bang too, though it will not be this year:

2Pe_3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
