Hmn sounds like work. And I already had to redo all the cookies that were erased, now I don't want to lose anything stored on chrome favorites etc

I've finished the test. I uninstalled chrome on my own PC and then installed it from the web site I gave before. You will not lose your favourites, nor any stored passwords and so forth.

I cannot be sure that doing the uninstall and then installing chrome again will fix your problem with the bread crumbs but it might and that makes it worth a try

I uninstalled from the computer control panel and went to IE to reinstall and that worked well also
