This thread brought to mind the rivalry football game each year between the University of Colorado-Boulder and Colorado State- The Buffaloes versus the Rams.

My youngest son went to college in Colorado and each year for this big rival game between schools, Colorado State would serve a couple thousand 'Buffalo Burgers' before kickoff. Boulder would in turn tailgate and offer Ramburgers.

I've had burgers made of chicken, lamb, elk, buffalo. Maybe others that I forgot over the years.
