Biblical idea of gift giving

Of course we know that Jesus us the greatest gift and that the wise men brought gifts to him but where else in the Holy Bible do we find gifts being given to others (not spiritual gifts)?

Abraham gave tithes to Melchesidek of course that is a tithe

Jacob gave gifts to Esau (Gen 32)

As an atheist, I gift all those in my life who I see could benefit from such a gift. It is not a matter of religious belief...it is simply a matter of what I can do to improve the lives of those within my circle (which is one person to another). If you have need, and I can help, I care not for your beliefs...let me provide help if I can as one person to another. That is the morally superior position.
