Right now, my most anticipated movie of the year is Avengers: Doomsday. It's set to premier on 18th December 2026. I can't think of the biggest movie of the year and best Marvel movie other than this.

How ready are you for Doomsday?

Part 1 — “The Lamb in the Firestorm”

The screen opens on a city swallowed in twilight — skyscrapers flickering like dying candles as shadows coil through the streets. Sirens wail. People run. The air trembles with the hiss of unseen forces.

A demonic legion pours through the cracks of reality, their forms twisting like smoke and iron. They swarm toward the heart of the city — toward a small boy clutching a worn Avengers backpack, frozen in terror.
Suddenly — a shockwave of holy light tears through the darkness.
Descending from the sky is THE SENTINEL, the Christian super‑hero chosen by Christ Himself. His armor gleams like molten gold, etched with scripture, pulsing with the fire of the Spirit. His cape snaps like a banner of war.

The demons recoil.
The Sentinel lands with the force of a meteor, cracking the pavement. He raises his hand, and a blazing cross of light erupts behind him, stretching across the skyline.
“In the name of Jesus Christ — BE GONE!”
The ground shakes. The shadows scream. A wave of divine power explodes outward, vaporizing the first line of demonic attackers.

The boy stares, trembling.
The Sentinel turns — and his fierce expression softens.
He kneels.

“Little lamb… I’ve come for you.”
He lifts the boy into his arms just as a massive demon lunges from behind. The Sentinel spins, shielding the child, and unleashes a beam of radiant fire that tears the creature apart.
He rises into the air, carrying the boy upward as the demonic horde swarms below.
Crowds on rooftops and balconies watch in awe.

And then — it begins.
A roar of praise erupts across the city.
People lift their hands. Voices shout the name of Jesus. Cheerleaders from a nearby stadium, still in uniform, gather in the streets and break into worship. Fans wave banners. Phones record the miracle. The city becomes a choir.

The Sentinel hovers above them, the rescued child safe in his arms, the cross blazing behind him like a second sun.
He speaks, his voice echoing across the skyline:
“The Lamb is found. The darkness will fall. Christ reigns.”
And with that, he dives back into the battlefield — a streak of holy fire — casting out demons, shattering strongholds, and driving the forces of hell back into the abyss.

The people cheer. The angels watch. The city trembles with hope.
Fade to black.
End of Part 1.
