My new outdoor furniture!! The trick to getting things to line up was to NOT fully screw in anything, but to wait until everything was set up, then tighten them all. The first two screws had to be the very last to be tightened as well. It took 20 minutes for each piece, so it was really simple.
If you're talking about buying things that come flat-packed I honestly don't remember. I don't buy that sort of thing very often.
If you're talking things that had to be assembled in general the last thing I built was probably a wall. I took down a stud wall because the studs were facing the wrong way and I couldn't fit electrical back boxes in the space, then decided to replace the studs because the ends were a bit chewed up and I wanted to repurpose the wood for something else. It might have been a window frame because a window and its frame were rotten (not surprising, given they were probably 75 years old or more). I forget which one was technically last.
Dining room chairs. Thank goodness the ex was willing to help with it, and even with him, assembling these things needed another 4 arms! Thank you Ikea.
