We enter the somber season of Lent starting with Ash Wednesday (except Eastern Orthodox who begin next week I think?). Does your church hold a service and do you receive ashes?

We don't hold a specific service. We have Lent themes each year but the next service other than the regular Sunday mornings for us will be Maundy Thursday.

I think you meant to say that Ash Wednesday marks the start of the season of Lent?
