Oh, I see. In my stage of life (82), I have to be more like Mary sitting at Jesus' feet, but when I was young, I was more like Martha in actively serving people, especially as a pastor for 27 years.

I don't think there is a wrong answer? I remember years ago on another Christian forum where women were arguing about which one was best.

I guess we should be a combination of both, serving and learning. That's why I'm writing forum responses and books to serve people and reading and studying the Bible, while I also pray along with my activities.
