Hi everyone,

As I have mentioned, we have some very exciting news regarding the Arcade for everyone. Recently we just passed 5,000 posts, and since then, we have been thinking of ways to thank everyone for their amazing support and contributions to the forum. I'm happy to announce that from today for two weeks, the Arcade will be open to all members to enjoy. Everyone has been so supportive and being a huge blessing to the site so far, and we're so happy to see how the site has progressed. And so we hope you enjoy the Arcade!

In Christ,
Romanos and GenesisGirl

I tried to play a game in the vain hope of it spitting enough CH cash for me to order a steak filet to go with my pizza only to find the flash player keeps freezing.

It's Flash Player 17.0.something under Firefox 39.0 and 64-bit Windoze 7 Professional.

Got it working, a Flash upgrade and a reboot fixed it.

I do think Windows XP and Windows 7 are high points in the life of Windows since windows 3.11 and Windows 98. I have doubts about Windows 10 ... I hope MS restores Windows Media Centre I use it for watching free to air TV with an old Videomate U80 USB Tv Tuner stick.

We will probably add Arcade access to the shop as a random special as well, besides having people get access through site subscriptions and random giveaways.

Is there a supporter option now, or is that still coming?

A supporter option will perhaps be available in the future and any money collected would return to site maintenance. We do not like the idea of begging for money although I do understand people are generous and appreciate a good forum, so they do not mind donating for a good cause.

It may be appearing in the shop that is coming soon, but also as a perk for Supporting Members. :)

Just a thought, it might be nice if members who were considered to make consistently valuable contributions to the site by virtue of the quality of their posts were deemed Supporting Members even if they don't contribute financially.

I realise the site costs money to run but without quality members no amount of hosting will make it a success.

That is where Valued Contributors come in. ;)

Maybe it would be easier to make the arcade open to all and invite people to donate if they feel so inspired?

Some with a bit of spare cash may feel inclined to donate, those with time but less cash can contribute in the form of useful posts, and those with neither aren't excluded because they don't have a banner under their name.

Just one desperate plea - please don't spam the site with ads and offer an ad-free experience to those who donate. ChristianForums did that and it just made me determined never to give them a penny. I don't want to be reminded every time I log in that I'm using adblockers and asking me if I'd consider uninstalling them. They didn't get there by accident, and if a site wants my money it needs to offer more than turning off the ads in exchange for cash.
