Why you threw the New Jerusalem in in your last change didnt really answer the previous issue, and now you just move on to asking a new question about the New Jerusalem as if I even brought it up.
You implied salvation as a process a few posts back. You don't seem to want to clarify that. Okay, then. Maybe you're not sure, that's why I mentioned about believers in Jesus KNOWING we HAVE eternal life.
If you want to explain your latest question about the New Jerusalem, that might be nice.
Also, is the portion I highlighted in red intended as part of a question, or just a separate statement? If it's a statement, it seems like you're answering your own question in this post.

Your assuming that what is referred to as creation is after the fall but I don't believe that's true. Creation means creation.

As much as they needed the tree of life


This is where the dispute is ... you believe that Adam had God's life w/o partaking of the tree of life. I don't.

It is my belief that our Father intends to complete His story with man ruling the Earth again as in the beginning. Jesus Christ, the last Adam will reign as King of all kings and Lord of all lords forever.

Jesus Christ is now the tree that is placed in front of us to gaze upon and to choose or reject. He isn't the tree of common knowledge. He's the one who is cursed in hanging on it.

He suffered, the just for the unjust, but in doing so He brought us to our own suffering. Our free will forces us to force ourselves to conform to His example because it's the true lines to God's image in mankind. Identification with the cross. Crucified with Him. Those who are His are those who have crucified the flesh with it's evil desires and lusts. Galations 6:14

Seated with Him in the heavenlies, now the power to carry out God's transformation is available to mankind. Christ lived on earth to show the image of God in His life. He lives in heaven to show the image of God in our lives. Ascending He sent the Holy Spirit to give that power to us that He has accomplished for us.

The fruit from that tree is the Holy Spirit, that is what is for our edification. Peace, joy, longsuffering, kindness, gentleness, temperance, love, and a couple more. From the fruit of the Holy Spirit comes our own fruit with it's reproducing qualities that reproduces God's life in others.

That's what's there for our edification. He is the tree set before us, gaze on it, and decide for yourself if it's being partaken of in a worthy manner.
