A friend of mine in the UK had a regular handyman who did just about everything in houses. He was licensed to work on gas, he did plumbing, carpentry, kitchens and bathrooms, just about everything. The one thing he wouldn't do was electrics.
Apparently a guy he knew had been doing some unrelated work and caught his head on a light bulb. This was back in the days of incandescent bulbs - the glass broke and the electric filament touched his head putting 240 volts from his head to his feet, and he literally dropped dead on the spot.
