Tucker is a democrat? If so he makes a horrible one
Often a person from one party will register in the opposite party so that they may vote in the other party's primary. Also sometimes people simply don't bother to change their party affiliation and just vote the way they want.

Wiki claims he registered Dem. in 2006 but change his party to Rep. in 2020.

I see the "Bee" is catching a case of John Stewart syndrome. Mr. Stewart hosted 'The Daily Show' with the avowed purpose of butchering everything Republican. He was (imo) essentially a political commentator with some measure of influence over the "gee, I'm so informed because I watch satirical news shows" crowd. I recall an interview he gave (on FOX NEWS of all places) where he stated "I'm just a comedian..." as if that would convince folks he was just some funny guy who really wasn't a political pundit. Since the Bee appears to now be a place for Republican punditry, then it ceases to be satirical.

It does have something of a right-leaning slant to it - that has been visible for as long as I've been reading it, which is a while now - but that doesn't change the fact that something curious about a party calling the other side Nazis and white supremacists only to suddenly call for unity as soon as they need people to get behind them.

I'm not sure you can say it ceases to be satirical, unless you believe comedy can't be political. Years ago in the UK we had a show called Spitting Image that lampooned public figures mercilessly, using heavily caricatured puppets. Nobody claimed that wasn't satirical even though they went through stages when they mocked one party more than the other.

You do realize that the Babylon Bee was created by a conservative Christian?

An alleged christian.

Anyone over the internet can claim such a title without rebuke.

I once heard a satanist known as lady gaga claim to be a christian.

So,
By what standard does this forum regard testimony besides the creeds?

This forum goes by what the member confesses since we cannot see who has faith and who doesn't. Confession of faith is what we look to. If a person claims to believe in the Trinity but then posts otherwise, his recent confession proves that he bore false witness by claiming to believe in the Trinity in the first place.

Just like you're an "alleged non-denominational" and an "alleged Conservative"? You know, like it says on your profile.

Since in this context we're talking about the founder of the Babylon Bee who, as far as I can see, isn't a member of the forum, it really doesn't matter where he/she/they stand/s with regard to faith. There's no requirement for the founder of a web site to be a Christian, professed or fake, for the web site to be linked here. You know, people link to news sites and science sites and funny sites and all sorts of other sites without seeming too bothered whether the owners and founders claim to be Christian or indeed whether those claims have any basis in reality.

Honestly, comments like this seem to be little more than arguing for the sake of arguing. If you really want to go there, why not start a thread to discuss how many angels can dance on the head of a pin?

My point is that you will know them by their fruits.
Words in a forum speak volumes about ones character.

But you were making the point about someone who writes a satirical news site, without offering anything besides throwing around words like "alleged", which doesn't exactly take much thought. Is it relevant whether the person who founded a satirical news site is a real Christian, a pretend Christian or not a Christian at all? You've picked one random observation and gone after it, but you picked something that really makes no difference.

Seriously, you might as well call me out on my profile picture - was that bird actually on the sign or was it a Photoshop job? Who knows where you might go from there - if you argue I manipulated my profile picture what else might I have manipulated? Or you could just accept it's meant to be mildly amusing and not worry about it.

Just so you know, I'm really not interested in discussing which it was. I found it online and thought it was funny. I don't know, nor do I care, whether it's a real photo or not.

I don't really care who founded it, I enjoy it for the humor.

If you want to pick on some random assertion and dispute it endlessly when the chances are none of us will ever know for sure your best bet would be to find someone else to argue with.

I don't recall mocking The Word of The Lord listed as a fruit of The Spirit.
Nor is it humorous far as I can see.

Who is mocking God's word?

I'm done with the red herrings here. If you don't find the Bee funny you don't have to click the links.
Babylon bee has mocked The Sacredness of The Word Of The Lord.

I only had to read a single article to find a writer blaspheming The Holy Spirit.

The only divisiveness being sown is from media sources that intentionally misconstrue current events involving governments of certain countries.

I read their legal stipulations in full before investigating the material presented by writers.
What you shared is not their legal stipulations.
Especially number nine's "IF

The story I read by a writer Carrys on about a man who "studied a Rosetta course for 6 months till they miraculously began speaking in tongues"

A summary of what I read is in quotations.
I won't repeat the rest.

I was once a strict Pentecostal but you have to respect other denomination's interpretations of "speaking in tongues" and how it applies to the Body today.. it's no different than satire pinned against Catholicism, or any branch for that matter.

As I said.
I will not repeat the luciferian filth posted by the writer.
It was mocking The Sacredness of The Word Of The Lord.
And it had nothing to do with pentecostals interpretation of Acts.
