O wash me more and more from my guilt

My offences truly I know them;

burnt offering from me you would refuse,

A humbled, contrite heart you will not spurn.
It is good to remember the kindness of the Lord. To call to mind that a broken, humbled heart, O God, you will not spurn. Be of good cheer even if life seems hard at the moment. God sees the struggles that you go through and he is not cold or unmoved by what he sees. He has mercy on the humble and shows love for the needy. Be comforted by that thought and look for his mercy, it will show itself somewhere.
