Curious list.

Detroit style - basically a square pizza instead of a round one. Had those a lot in my student days. We just called them square pizzas.

I didn't get any further than that because an annoying ad started making a noise and I closed the tab.

You can always google the others :)

Quad City style is my absolute favorite type of pizza!! I've put the recipe on the site here some time ago.

I've also had Grandma Slice, Ohio Valley style and Detroit style.

I read through the website and didn't know the names of the styles of pizzas. I guess around here where I live the quad cities is familiar with a mix of St. Louis. But I also heard tavern style because it leaves more room for beer. I usually bake my own pizza or pie so I make it my own. I would have to say I have tried most styles but didn't know it. I live in Chicagoland! Deep dish rules a few times a year.

I could, but for me pizza is pretty simple. Deep pan, loaded with meat (pineapple and hot peppers count as meat for purposes of pizza) and cheese, cook it, smother it in crushed hot peppers, and enjoy with a beer or two :)

Never heard of any of those.....

I've had Chicago "Deep Dish" and also New York style (which is very thin crust usually eaten folded over ). Kind of opposites. California style is usually just anything weird (thus the appropriate name).

I like how they didn't even bother to upload the photos on their website. They just straight up embeded them from random Instagram accounts. If those accounts are deleted for some reason, or if Instagram shuts down in the future, the article becomes imageless.

Not to worry, I'm sure the annoying ad will still start making an unexpected noise as people wait to see if an image will actually appear :)
