I watched parts of some videos about building a one half meter BB 8 with all sorts of mechanisms inside and a fairly clever bit of computer programming to control the mechanisms. What struck me is how clever a 3D printer can be. So for those of you interested in what people do with technologies here is one of the videos

Did you read about doctors 3D printing body parts?

Yes, I saw a tv program about 3D printing with living cells as the substance deposited by the printer.

3D Printing is something that fascinates me. I haven't got a 3D printer, but I've watched people print 3D objects on YouTube and tech shows on TV. I think it's definitely going to replace a normal 2D printer in the years to come.
