Smoke?

You are refusing to read.

God has definitions of Holiness. Man is God's Glory, made in the image of God. What man does reflects. The Spiritual is like a mirror. What are you reflecting?

In 2015, ISIS turned some Churches into torture chambers in Syria. They were reflecting something. Hell on Earth can be a thing.

Given people would like the good things of God, and blessings, they listen. (Isaiah 45:7) They follow directions.

This is easy theology.

You're using lots of fine-sounding words here but nothing is related to the subject matter. Throw in a few personal jabs and you've got a classic example of blowing smoke.

Smoke, smoke, smoke. It's easier than presenting a useful argument.

I moved this thread out of the Bible Study forum since that isn't meant to have debate and this thread has gone down that route. I think that we need to stop writing about who has smoke though...just state the facts without the dings.

The Bible often gets painted as a giant book of “thou shalt nots,” but the truth is, a lot of those supposed “sins” are based on misunderstandings, outdated context, or prioritizing rules over the heart of the message. Let’s clear some things up:

Just for the record: This is just an article I found and was looking to see other peoples thoughts on it.

What are your thoughts?
Some of those "sins" on that website are actual sins against God, for example, number eight about sex, which allows "intimate, consentual sex whether or not you're married" ignore God's commands, "You shall not commit adultery" (Old Testament) and "Flee sexual immorality" (New Testament), which confine sex to marriage. The writer has been influenced more by our culture than the Bible, sadly.
