    Again, "be baptized" means something happens to you. In the book of James, the speech is toward those who already have faith for salvation and now James is showing that after we receive faith we do works. The works are not for God but because our neighbors need our good works.

    Baptism is God's work in us. It's not something I can do to myself. The language is passive "be baptized" meaning something is happening to us.

    We can't believe without having faith first given to us by God....and Baptism is God's work. So yeah, still faith alone.

    Scriptures have told us that salvation is "by grace through faith". Apart from that we can only trust that God's judgment is Holy and good.

    You can't "believe" in the Savior without having faith given to you by God first. You might know there was a guy named Jesus who existed, but that's not believing in Him as your Savior. Works by unbelievers are not acceptable to God.

    I hate the push for vaccines because these are more like therapeutics than a true vaccine. One news reporter was on last week and said that the vaccines prevent Covid. NO this vaccine does NOT prevent covid. It helps people to have less severe symptoms is all. That was her misinformatino she's...

    A lot of services now have a long waiting list and not just therapy. I can't even get a interior house painter out here until January! I think the really good doctors have the longest waiting lists.

    The Law is God's Holy Law. So works are anything we do to obtain salvation. We are all saved in the same way, "by grace through faith" and that faith is in Jesus and His act of salvation on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins.
