    I did a mile walk, went and got some groceries for the week and then went to the park to walk over 2 miles in the heat. I stayed to the shady wooded areas as much as I could. Watching Catfish on TV right now.

    That's not the same as talking about the Real Presence for the sake of Holy Communion. Jesus gave them the bread to eat and said it was His body. He gave them the wine to drink and said it was His blood. There was a purpose for communion...to eat and drink.

    I totally agree! I remember blushing at people kissing in movies when I was a little girl. I didn't need it to be discussed in schools, promoted in schools, etc.

    That isn't even my argument. This started off in my prayer thread where Lees asked God to punish someone. That's concerning. I have no qualms at all about men deciding to do something. But that's not even the conversation. This is about asking GOD to do something against men.

    I brought up the cross because it is exactly what is needed for this conversation. God is not punishing us because of the cross. You want God to punish someone. God will allow consequences to happen here on earth, but He isn't the cause of bad things happening to us. He is loving and merciful...
