    And yet, here we are, sinful human beings who still sin daily. Because of Jesus' death and resurrection, we as believers have faith that our sins are forgiven, even the ones you do tomorrow. We can't navel gaze and wonder if we're good enough, no, we look at Jesus.

    The Gospel is what changes man from the old into the new. Jesus didn't tell the apostles to withhold the gospel from all...I don't see that verse? We can't choose to believe, it's the work of God to give us faith which means we believe when He does that. Some men reject that faith though and...

    I have a few first memories from when I was a toddler and didn't speak in full sentences. People would lift me up at my ribcage and that absolutely hurt!! I couldn't tell them though because the language wasn't there, so I cried and they didn't understand why.

    Based on anyone's actions, none of us are saved. None of us live that perfectly obedient life that the law demands...only Jesus was capable of that which is why HE die on the cross in our place.

    God gives nonbelievers faith and they believe. He does so by His word.

    It's actually God's word (the Gospel that brings about the change from the Old Adam into the new). That's because we receive faith from God when hearing (or receiving by reading) God's word and God's word is alive and active. It's what the Holy Spirit uses to convert us.

    Who knows? Could be an extinct animal. One thing about the Old Testament that unless it's something like a Psalm meant to be sung, if it's listed as fact then we take it as fact. If we don't do that then we could easily start doubting other things that happened such as miracles from God.
