    Once saved always saved?

The thread's theme is the slogan "once saved always saved". It is not intended to be a discussion about being saved or who can be saved or who will be saved ...

    They don't believe Paul

Jesus is the final revelation of God from God so whatever saint Paul teaches it cannot be his intention to contradict the Lord or to correct him. What saint Paul writes in his letters has to be read in the light of Christ. The four canonical gospels are normative and saint Paul's letters can...

Wednesday, 23rd September 2015 MORNING Our God hath not forsaken us. Ezra 9:9 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you. I Pet. 4:12 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is...

    Once saved always saved?

The blood of the Lord is sufficient to save for all time all those who come to him in faith and receive him as Lord and Saviour; that is not the issue under discussion.

Does Government have the right to force someone to marry homosexuals?

But civil marriage is a government matter; the government issues the marriage licenses and sets the conditions for obtaining one.

Does the RCC call Mary "Queen of Heaven"?

I do, and I think that Revelation 12:1-2 depicts her. //Fixed Bible tag.

Can your bible make you into a bigot and a 'jerk'?

I think that holy scripture tells the church's leaders to exercise authority and to deal with notorious offenders and serious offences but the faithful who do not hold an office of authority are not called to act against others hastily and by their own authority. And for people outside of the...

    False teachers

Yes, it is always between the faithful and God what they receive as truth. But if you want to promote a doctrine, such as the doctrine of men like Kenneth Copeland and Creflo Dollar then you'll need more than anecdotes about healing as evidence for the truth of their teaching. For me the holy...

    False teachers

I cannot verify what happened to you or if instant healing happens in your meeting. It might happen and it might not; you've given an anecdote and even if I accept it as what you believe it is not evidence that I can verify. It is a little like the miracles at Lourdes but at Lourdes the miracles...

Does Government have the right to force someone to marry homosexuals?

I think that holy scripture is fairly clear that marriage is between a man and a woman (maybe a man and several women in some old covenant passages) and that sex between two men is condemned in both testaments. Sex between two women does not appear to be mentioned in the old covenant but Romans...

    Mother of God

I am sure that I did answer your questions. Jesus is called God the Son in John 1:18. If the KJV translates from manuscripts that do not make that clear it is a fault in those manuscripts rather than an absence of the title "God the Son" in holy scripture.

    Once saved always saved?

Naturally enough, you cannot explain your stated position using English and sound exegesis so you toss in a claim to Holy Spirit enlightenment and so seek to exclude me by implying that I - ignoramus and non-spiritual being that I must be - do not have. I however look at this attempt to sideline...

    Holy Living...

Yet God created human beings in his image and pronounced creation good. The fall surely cannot have utterly thwarted God's creation work nor render utterly corrupt what God made good.

A theory why husbands don't do laundry

It is very rare for apartments in Australia not to have an in-apartment laundry room or closet. I guess Australians just do not like the idea of shared laundry facilities if they can avid them.

Does the RCC call Mary "Queen of Heaven"?

I do not really understand the fixation on an old covenant pagan deity called "queen of heaven". It is as if the use of a title or a name by a pagan religion somehow contaminates the title for eternity. The Lord God Yahweh's titles are used in pagan religions; "lord" is "baal" in the Canaanite...
