    My post referred to Romans chapter six as explaining the union of Christians with Christ. I did not say and I did not imply that one may sin as he/she pleases and still have remission of sins.

    Yes, we were. My own country's government has harsh policies about refugees who arrive by boat without visas. Some see it as cruel and inhuman. But regarding Syrians the government here seems keen to receive Christian Syrians and others from persecuted minorities.

    It appears to be how many who decry him as wicked or as corrupt or as a false teacher see him that way so that they can beat the straw man they've created into a pile of lifeless stubble. For those who are Catholics he is not infallible even though some statements of some popes have been so.

    Seems that the ones most opposed are the ones most guilty of making an idol of Blessed Mary so that they can rail against her or rail against those who rightly and justly honour her as the mother of the Lord.

    Your reasoning is faulty. That a man can make an infallible statement does not make that man himself incapable of error. To think that it does is an obvious error in logic.

    That's no hint. It was included in the reading I gave in post #10, perhaps you missed it. The notes said "[So with LXX; MT reads for Azazel; i.e. the goat that will be sent away]" If you have something from the book of Hebrews to present then do so please, hints and games are not helpful.

    Alleluia! Alleluia! Interestingly one of our TV stations as THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST on at the moment I write these words. It is just starting. Odd that they chose today for it instead of Good Friday.
