    It would be an error for the Catholic Church to approve a bible that was short by seven books and minus several chapters from Daniel and Esther.

    One is saved by grace through faith and salvation implies being made righteous (justified).

    The Catholic Church approved versions in many languages; German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, various Scandinavian languages, Apparently in Middle English and possibly in early Modern English, Arabic, Greek, Polish, possibly in some other Slavic languages, Romanian, Czech, Slovak, and more.

    Former Jews would understand Jewish things, Gentiles probably would not unless instructed in them. For the most part the gospel is not about Judaism.
