    Dead know not anything...

Do you yourself believe and teach that men when they die in this world go into an unconscious state like sleep and their soul/spirit remains quiescent and unaware? If you do believe and teach this then what of the Lord Jesus Christ was he sleeping in the tomb and unaware while in it was his...

But unlike many traditions that the world observes Sunday observance is an apostolic tradition.

What makes a person a saint?

I think you are right. Certainly the Lord Jesus Christ was somehow preserved from original sin. His mother - being human and through whom he received human flesh and human nature - might be expected to pass on a fallen human nature if she herself was afflicted with one. Elizabeth, Mary's...

The Age of Uncertainty is a truly excellent series scripted and narrated by John Kenneth Galbraith. It is full of insight and earthy wisdom and teaches the core ideas in economics in clear and concise words and illustrations. Youtube provides some excellent material.

    Atonement view

It is not sound teaching when it calls Christians live in the thrall of legalism.

It's all a pretence ... No one keeps the feasts of Jehovah today.

A few years back my "small Christian community" group had a Seder meal. It was interesting. We also had a dinner featuring roasted meat, I think it was beef if my memory serves me well :)

It's great to hear his voice again ...

Here's a video introduced by Alistair Cooke, a man who produced a weekly "Letter from America" for 50 or so years. It was played on the Radio here and in the UK and probably in dozens of other countries every week. He was such a good speaker and an astute observer of USA culture and politics. I...

    Salvation comes from God alone

I am not going to take your word for it since you're contradicting the holy scripture which says of the Church that it is the church of the living God, the pillar and support of the truth. I'll stick with what the holy scriptures say.

    Dead know not anything...

The story of the rich man and Lazarus has one obvious meaning but one can add allegorical and moral and practical interpretations on top of the obvious meaning. But the obvious meaning is the one that has to govern everything.

    Tales of an Australian election...

Looks like the national election will be on 2nd-July this year. Our Prime Minister said so on TV but he has not yet told the Governor General to dissolve parliament and issue writs for the election. He's playing a game with the politics of it all.
