Wake up; what you say about the Catholic Church creates a bad reputation for CH.

I haven't participated in the recent anti-catholic threads. They appear to be created for other people. I do not want to give them credence because they are full of inaccuracies and errors. I believe that they are likely to harm the reputation of Christianity Haven.

    Catholic Only The Church.

Other Names Given The Church In Scripture 471 Many names, moreover, which are replete with mysteries, have been used to designate the Christian body. Thus, by the Apostle, it is called the house and edifice of God. If, says he to Timothy, I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to...

Wake up; what you say about the Catholic Church creates a bad reputation for CH.

The passages speak of what motivates one's speaking. The same things will motivate one's writing. Matthew 15:11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. Matthew 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come...

ARTICLE IX : "I BELIEVE IN THE HOLY CATHOLIC CHURCH; THE COMMUNION OF SAINTS" The Importance Of This Article 458 With what great diligence pastors ought to explain to the faithful the truth of this ninth Article will be easily seen, if we attend chiefly to two considerations. 459 First, as...

Wake up; what you say about the Catholic Church creates a bad reputation for CH.

It seems likely to me that with the proliferation of threads written by people who are not Catholics about the Catholic Church and it's alleged wickedness Christianity Haven will soon develop a reputation as safe haven for anti-catholic sentiment. Matthew 15:11 Not that which goeth into the...

A blog to remember being the reminiscences of a chap named MoreCoffee

Today, being Sunday 29th May 2016, I compiled and linked the Lua dll, interpreter, and compiler all using Microsoft Visual Studio. I think that's quite good. Especially since the Microsoft software is free.

    The arguments for Sunday

If the Thus says the Lord came from some would-be prophet it would mean very little for the reasons I've stated in other threads. But there is no Thus says the Lord contained in the holy scriptures that speaks against the Church of God.

    The arguments for Sunday

It appears that you're blindly following your own opinions. I do not see that as better than following God's Church. Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Sunday 29th May 2016 Morning The life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Lev. 17:11 Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29...

    The arguments for Sunday

From my perspective the corruption and error lies in the systems of belief that your meetings practise.

Heaven. It's not the final destination.

Yes, they differ yet are the same in the most essential detail. The New Jerusalem is where God is. Heaven too is where God is. In both cases I am speaking of that state in which the face of God may be beheld by human beings.

    The arguments for Sunday

My faith is in Jesus Christ not in priests. I respect my parish priest because he is an elder in God's church but I do not have religious faith in him. Surely you would not abandon the faith because a pastor or other leader in your meeting behaved badly?

How is one made fit for heaven after this life?

What exactly does your "other" mean with reference to the thread's question? When a Christian dies what happens to their remaining faults of character and unrepented sins?

It is more of a protective fence like the ten commandments. A place of freedom outside of which is much wickedness.

If it is not as the Catholic Church teaches then it is not "for me". It's according to somebody else.
