Anybody can teach whatever fanciful explanations of the world's current state of existence that they like but not in the state funded schools. Teach Hindu or Animist mythology if it pleases. Do it at home, or in a school privately funded.
Matthew 16:19; 18:18 also teach what John 20:19-23 teaches. The principle is repeated in James 5:13-18. With that I'll leave the matter with you to consider if you are willing.

How does a pastor gain advantage?
If one confesses "Father forgive me for I have sinned most grievously in the matter of envy." what profit is in it for the pastor who listens advises and assures of God's absolving forgiveness?
