    I do not have any special dislike for earrings in a male's ear if the same earring is acceptable in a female's ear but I do notice that some earrings appear to be accepted by males and some rejected and maybe the basis is what is regarded as gender appropriate by males.

    I never was even slightly interested in receiving an ear ring or a tattoo. I am not sure how such decorations are intended to work, I believe sometimes they are "worn" for the purpose of making one "more sexy". Personally I think it does not work.
