Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit ...

It doesn't really help. What the pope said and what was subsequently reported in the news and then translated into English is only of minimal help. Why not search for your material in something more reliable like the CCC?

can anyone identify my mysterious religious pendant?

It is a Catholic medal most often associated with Saint Catherine Labouré following her vision of the Blessed Virgin Mary and made by goldsmith Adrien Vachette. It is not advocated in official Catholic teaching but many people wear it or use it with book ribbons. Some Catholics believe that...

    Hillary

I wonder about the anti-hillary-clinton material i see on youtube. It seems that most of it can be traced back to Republican sources or from the Donald Trump campaign. The facts do not point to Hillary Clinton having Parkinson's disease or being a criminal or crooked.

    Prayer

One liturgical prayer is: Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name; Thy kingdom come Thy will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; And forgive us our trespasses As we forgive those who trespass against us; And lead us not into temptation, But...

    Historians can be so proasic!

I watched a video called Reluctant Saint about saint Francis of Assisi. Nearly all of the things seen as miraculous by the faithful are reinterpreted as disease, coincidence, and symbolic but not actual events. It appears to be a sad reality that in our world of fact gathering pedantry no...
