It was news, you might have thought.

Maybe it is time lapse satellite photos strung together to make a more impressive image. Prints of the image seem to be for sale so making it as spectacular as possible was likely the aim of the person (or persons) who created the composite.

Lowliness is assured by majesty, weakness by power, mortality by eternity.

I have doubts about the answer being "no" to the question "can you live up to this perfectly?" because God was willing to call Job "an upright man and perfect" and the holy scriptures refer to Enoch as one who pleased God. I have seen people reason that Enoch was a sinner like everybody else but...

    The woman at the well

I've never thought of Jesus' crucifixion as breaking an outer shell. He died. When he rose again he rose in the same body in which he died - that is why there were nail prints in his hands and a wound in his side. Jesus rose and received whatever changes go hand in hand with glorification. I...

    The woman at the well

More like a significant number of conversions than a revival - after all they were Samaritans not Christians so they were not being revived so much as being a mission territory :)

    Banning smart phones.

I am not sure of your intended meaning. Are you saying that smart phones are banned in California or are you affirming that California law bans the use of phones for texting and playing games while driving?

    What Do Christians believe?

Those are lovely verses that tell me that God loves the world. That is one thing that Christians believe.

    Companies pull ADs

Bill O'Reilly makes very obnoxious public comments so it is no surprise that companies do not what their product associated with those obnoxious comments.

Have you found it on the internet? The image comes from https://www.magnoliabox.com/products/composite-view-showing-night-lights-and-wildfires-in-australia-42-44176864 It's "Composite view showing night lights and wildfires in Australia"

    What Do Christians believe?

The thread is not "what makes a Christian?" or "How does a person find salvation?" it is "what do Christians believe?" because the idea is to examine what Christians believe.

It looks like the lighted area is as I've indicated below. The water is not alight.

    EASTER what do you do

I like to go to the Easter Vigil mass, being the first mass since Holy Thursday - there is no mass on Good Friday or in the day time on Saturday.

It was news, you might have thought.

I don't see enough detail in the image you posted to know what is a street lit city and what is some other source of light (perhaps fires?). It is not clear because the image has insufficient resolution to see a difference. The image does not show the bay's water as being alight.

    The woman at the well

No, not really, I was interested to see how you developed your themes. I see, so the 70's is a reference to the 72 disciples who went out to preach in the towns and villages of Judea. Then the seventy-two returned with gladness, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us, in your name."...
