Friday, 18th September 2015 MORNING Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. Psa. 119:18 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures. Luke 24:45 It is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it...

    Once saved always saved?

Abraham believed and he lived before the gospel was preached. His belief was not self effort, right? In this way the scripture was fulfilled: Abraham put his faith in God, and this was considered as making him upright; and he received the name 'friend of God'. (James 2:23) Enoch, before the...

    The reality is in Christ.

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. (Colossians 2:16-17) I know that the above verses are not exactly about similes, metaphors, or parables...

Does Government have the right to force someone to marry homosexuals?

I agree that no church ought to celebrate such marriages because to do so appears to be contrary to the teaching of Christ yet I hesitate to pronounce a condemnation upon those who do because condemnation really is in the power of God alone.

    Once saved always saved?

I agree that it appears to be possible and that Hebrews does seem to point to it as both possible and real. As for those people who were once brought into the light, and tasted the gift from heaven, and received a share of the Holy Spirit, and tasted the goodness of God's message and the powers...

    Mother of God

Elizabeth called Mary the mother of my Lord surely that is biblical and implies that Mary is the mother of God since the Lord is in fact God. When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. And she cried out with a loud voice and...

    The bread of life.

In the gospel according to saint John the Lord says of himself, "I am the bread of life". Do you believe it and if you do in what sense do you believe it?

whats the weather like where you live?

It was sunny and warm here today, 27 C was the maximum. It is night time now and quite cool at 15 C. There's some cloud too. I see a waxing crescent moon peeking through every now and then.

    Once saved always saved?

Do you believe that it is possible to fall into unbelief for one who professes faith and believes himself (or herself) to be in the body of Christ?

What is it about yourself that makes you believe that you're saved?

Those are good subjective reasons for one's feeling of assurance of salvation but they are not objective. Holy scripture's general statements in the form of promises and reassurances given to the faithful are truly encouraging and intended to be taken to heart by the faithful and the warnings...

Does Government have the right to force someone to marry homosexuals?

Unless some denomination chooses to celebrate same sex marriages then it is within their civil and religious freedoms to do so, right?
