    When was Jesus Christ born?

John 10:22-38 (22) And it was the feast of the dedication at Jerusalem: (23) it was winter; and Jesus was walking in the temple in Solomon's porch. (24) The Jews therefore came round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou hold us in suspense? If thou art the Christ, tell us...

Another shooting spree in the USA

In Oregon there's been 15 or more people killed and up to 20 (in total?) shot. I guess "guns do not kill people, people kill people" is still the mantra of the pro gun ownership lobby.

    Saved from what?

I believe that neither they nor I nor you know they are saved. But I, they, and you can observe the transition in their confession from "I am saved" to "I do not believe in God".

    What is sin?

What precisely do you not understand about the distinction between sins that are "unto death" and sins that are "not unto death"?

    Saved from what?

If you were incapable of framing the topic so that it asked specifically what you wanted then the fault is in your original post and not in the replies you've received. You asked "saved from what?" the answer is "saved from a human perspective" since that is the only perspective that human...

    Saved from what?

"Saved from what?" your thread asks and the answer is given in the first quote above; one is saved from a human perspective but no human being on Earth knows who is and who is not eternally saved. Some folk like to claim they know that they themselves are eternally saved. Their claims are not...

    What is sin?

My first post in this thread explains why I disagree. My second post reiterates the reason and gives an additional reason. And my post shown as the third quote above explains what sin is according to holy scripture and also according to my Church. I hope this helps.

    We are back...

After three days of no connection and no communication except a facebook notice mentioning that the site was down I removed Christianity Haven from my bookmarks-bar. Had I not received an email on the 4th day I would not have known the site was back up and would not be here now.

    We are back...

I do not have a facebook account and do not want one so I cannot post in facebook; this means of communication is of no use to me. I was unable to access Christianity Haven for four days.

Be HOLY for I am HOLY- 1 Peter 1:16

A person or a thing that is holy is also good in some sense and ought to be revered. God is holy absolutely in every way because God is good - absolutely good. When God calls upon the faithful to be holy because he is holy he is calling them to be like him and he is calling them into fellowship...

    What is sin?

I am saying Every one that doeth sin doeth also lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. (1 John 3:4) SIN is an offence against God as well as a fault against reason, truth, and right conscience. Sin is a deliberate thought, word, deed, or omission contrary to the eternal law of God. In judging...

    False teachers

With specific teachers, such as Kenneth Copeland, there is no need for hypotheticals because his spoken words contain enough errors.
