    Faith without good works clearly does exist, the holy scriptures bear witness to it. But the theology of many Protestants denies it or introduces concepts like "real faith" (aka "true faith") to juxtapose next to "false faith" or "mere belief". The concepts are foreign to holy scripture.

    Individual opinions do not rate very highly but the Church's teaching does rate highly. Baptism saves. That is the teaching of the holy scriptures. Baptism saves you; this baptism is not a matter of physical cleansing, but of asking God to reconcile us, through the resurrection of Christ Jesus.
