    When truth matters.

I mean no harm in saying this but I've said it before and do so again in the hope that you will hear it. I do not care why you left. It is irrelevant to me. That you have left is a fact and that is all I need know (in fact I need not know it but you seem to make it a point to rehearse it often)...

new zealand - now has official gender option on forms -male/female/gender diverse

I am not ever going to seek a same sex marriage or a "gender diverse" choice on a government form; for me these things are not options because they would be wickedness, but I will never treat another human being badly because of my faith in God.

    Blood Moons

Seems to me that tango is generally rather polite and good in discussion.

new zealand - now has official gender option on forms -male/female/gender diverse

In New Zealand I think it is the High Court. That was recent, the principle is not so new. New Zealand has had same sex marriage for quite a while now. So designating sex in official documents as "male", "Female" and "gender diverse" is not exactly ground breaking.

    We are back...

How about setting up a mailing list to keep folk informed, or both a mailing list and a web site. The web site need not be hosted by the same company; a free website would do.

    What is sin?

Do you think that Job kept the law that was applicable in his time and culture? Or Enoch?

    What is sin?

More a case of avoiding garden paths that you want to lead me down :)

    What is sin?

Oh, why would I need to do that? I am more than happy with the scripture as it stands. "sin is lawlessness" is what it says in English and that is sufficient. No need to add "all" or list sins. Such casuistry is more what one expects from Pharisees than from Christians.

    What is sin?

Yes, you did do that didn't you. Extrapolated. Inferred. Imported an idea into the passage that isn't actually in it.

    What is sin?

Yes, it is a nice definition. It is like the one in 1 John 3:4 but it speaks of faith instead of lawlessness.

    What is sin?

I don't see that little word all in your quote from the bible. You did notice that it is that little word that I asked you about?

    What is sin?

Where does the bible say "all sin is lawlessness"?

    What is sin?

I only occasionally quote from the KJV, more often from the ASV, and most of all from other versions.

    When was Jesus Christ born?

Surely you have a doctrine to teach else why bother with all this at all; if it truly is a matter of indifference then December is as good as any month, right?

    What is sin?

I am not a KJV only chap; are you? What is sin?

I am confident that you can read it in the bible as easily as reading it in a quote of the bible in one of my posts. The Message says: For instance, if we see a Christian believer sinning (clearly I'm not talking about those who make a practice of sin in a way that is "fatal," leading to...

    When was Jesus Christ born?

Would that you applied the same level of scepticism to the doctrine you've spruiked in here.

    What is sin?

No, he says that there is a deadly sin and there is a sin that is not deadly. Play games with the passage if it suits your theology but the passage will still say what it says when your game is forgotten. And it appears that you didn't want a list of 'deadly sins' because the one given has gone...

    False teachers

I am not very concerned with hypothetical false teachings and if that were all that was presented then it would have gone without remark from me but because it was put into the mouth of a "Catholic priest" and into the Pope's mouth too it was rejected as a kind of character assassination (which...
